Corfu Arcoudila beach is a peninsula, set almost 5km from Kavos resort in south Cofu. Arcoudila beach is not an organised beach but someone would enjoy a day there as it has natural beauty, clean sea and peacefull enviroment. Set far from any well known resort it is a good idea for privacy! To get there more than an hour drive from Corfu town is required, followed by a 15-minute drive on dirt road! The setting and the crystal turqoise waters is worth the drive but be prepared:

anything you may need bring it with you! There aren't any shops or buildings to ask from!
Occasionally some nudists or small private beach parties take place on Arkoudila beach. Try to get there early in the day, usually during weekdays it's not busy at all. This is an ideal beach for those looking for relaxing days on the beach for their Corfu holidays but it can get rough for families with young children.
Tip: wasps will appear in the morning, mosquitos at night, make sure you have a cream or burn some greek coffee to keep them away!
