Corfu Achillion Palace was built originally for Princess Elizabeth of Austria and it's one of Corfu's most famous attractions. The gardens are decorated with many beautifull flowers and the palace with Greek statues of gods in a mythical setting.
Your guide will present you in an hour of guiding the history of the Palace, which was bought in 1907 from Kaiser Willhelm II. The tour returns through Perama, a seaside resort with views of the Mouse Island (trademark of Corfu for decades) and reaches Corfu town in the main square which is the biggest in the Balkans.
You will walk through the famous Liston in the Esplanade until St. Spyridon church, the patron saint of Corfu. After guiding in Corfu town you will have free time for further exploration of the narrow streets ("kantounia") or shopping.
